Spray Foam in Little River, SC

To address this issue and prevent heat from seeping into the units, Carolina Energy Conservation installed closed-cell spray foam. This type of insulation is an excellent choice due to its high R-value of about 6.0 per inch. Duct Encapsulation in Little River, SC

This Little River homeowner was looking to increase the efficiency of her HVAC unit and receive balanced air conditioning throughout the house. He decided to search on Google for a reputable contractor in his area, and was led to Carolina Energy Conservation as local professionals who specialize in energy efficiency. After a free and thorough energy evaluation, it was clear that encapsulating ductwork would be a necessary step in the right direction towards meeting his goals. Attic spaces in South Carolina are in excess of 130 degrees which makes it hard for the unit within the attic to pull in cold air and distribute it effectively. Encapsulating the A/C ducts would improve thermal performance and ensure balanced air conditioning throughout the home from room to room. As a result, the air conditioning unit would have to run less saving the homeowner on energy costs and increasing sustainability. This project was completed within one business day, and this homeowner’s investment in energy efficiency would help them save on their electric bill and life of their A/C units!
